The Bordone LIC

The Bordone was THE PERFECT VENUE for us, hands down. Both myself and my (now) husband are from New York, but have been living on the West Coast for the past 5 years and to have the NYC skyline as a view for our wedding meant THE WORLD to us, and it is drop-dead GORGEOUS! Our family & friends still tell us to this day that they loved the venue (we got married May 2023). And because you have the view, we didn't need to focus & spend too much on decoration because honestly, the view says it all, and we had 2 floral free standing arches during our ceremony with the city in the background. With many wedding venues, you're typically given a specific timeframe that you can have your vendors load and a specific time everything has to be out by. But with the Bordone - we literally had the whole day from 9am to 2am (the next day). It was SO HELPFUL to have the timeframe that we did because we didn't have to stress out about timing as much. We worked closely with Hector and he is amazing. He is so friendly, helpful and upbeat - he truly is a gem. If you get to work with him, you should take the chance!

We had an incredible wedding at the Bordone in July! Everyone RAVED about how nice and spacious the venue was and of course, the big star of the show was the gorgeous view. We also loved that it's indoor/outdoor so just in case of bad weather we could easily move everything indoors without panicking. The Bordone was such a wonderful choice for our wedding venue. You just can’t beat the view! With lots of spaces available, you can design your tailor made event to fit your party, with indoor and outdoor options. The vendor list to choose from is expansive to help create your unique wedding dream. On our wedding day, Hector was lovely to work with and helped make sure that everything ran smoothly. You are renting the event space, so during planning, the team is hands-off but always responsive to questions and helpful with suggestions whenever asked. If you’re looking to be completely in charge of every detail and want a magical NYC backdrop, you can’t go wrong with The Bordone!

A great blank space wedding venue that can be turned into absolute magic! As New York wedding photographers at Megan & Kenneth, we've seen this space transform for weddings to fit the couple perfectly. The skyline from daytime to nighttime always impresses guests, making for the quintessential NYC backdrop for your wedding photos. The nearby access to LIC hotels is also perfect for out-of-town guests and for wedding parties getting ready! A truly awesome space for a great party.

The Bordone LIC was the perfect venue for our Fall wedding! Many of our guests were from out of town and were completely blown away by the views of the skyline. The terrace provides plenty of space for a large ceremony and the indoor space was exactly what we were looking for to be able to create our own wedding look! The blank space allowed us to really make our vision turn into reality. Kimberly was so helpful throughout the planning process, and her and Hector helped make sure everything went smoothly the day of as well. We loved everything about our wedding at the Bordone and would recommend the venue to anyone planning a personalized and magical event!

This place was the wedding venue of my DREAMS! It was the first venue was toured and we were immediately sold. Kimberly, the building manager, is amazing to work with. She is so responsive and helpful with any questions. The venue itself is really just a blank canvas with a beautiful view that you can make into whatever you desire.
